There are dozens I would like to post, but this one just captures the day.
July 5, 2015; we were wet & cold, but I was grinning like a jackass eating thistles after getting this thing loaded up and headed home.

And of course, my sidekick.

When we brought home my GN my younger daughter immediately fell in love (because it's not as loud as the other cars and sounds like a jet) and it was in Fast and Furious 4. This was her "Letty" pose because Letty's always mad....

Default Lightning Strikes at Santa Rosa NM...

Since photography is a hobby of mine, I'll try to contain myself from posting a few 100...lol!

This summer, we took a trip to Texas. We were camped at an RV park in Santa Rosa NM having dinner. Seeing a storm brewing, I woofed down dinner and grabbed my camera gear and headed off (walking). Got several lightning strikes and decided it was time to seek shelter. Got disoriented but thankfully the campground host was driving around and picked me up and drove me to our RV.

My favorites and me after the fact. Technically I didn't take the last picture of me, but it helps tell the story.

Being a picture you took yourself, tell us the reason or story behind the picture. I'll start with a picture of my car, and the engine that was removed from it in 1987. This was the first thing I did to the car after buying it for $1500.
I guess I got my car for a steal then. I bought mine for $500 around 1988.

I took this picture a few years ago at a car show. I like the reflections in the trunk and fender.
