Mark - Yes, I will trade you for your awesome Warwick Blue car! Just kidding, I found it, but I am not going to buy it. Reach out to me if you're interested in it and I will tell you about it.

I'm not normally in here (GP guy), but high option cars always intrigue me.
I have been keeping track (and in touch with the owner) of a 69 GP SJ that is also very high option - it is now in Saskatchewan, but was sold new at the SAME DEALER as this GTO.
Seems like a strange coincidence - especially given how expensive cars with many options were in Canada.

It shows a dealer. Being imported to Canada, I would think not?
If it was, I wonder if they have the other copies if so?
(not sure if the Canada Service does that)

That dealer was right down the road from where I grew up and the owner was a friend of my dad. I think I recall that GTO when I grew up in the 70’s. Rare to see an AC car there, especially a ragtop, especially a stick!

That dealer serviced the posh crowd along the lakeshore so there was a few cars like that one, I recall a 67 GTO ragtop back then loaded to bear like that one.

Sadly that dealer is in the literal epicenter of the rust belt. And rich guys didn’t store them for the winter. Three years in a heated garage every night all winter rotted them big time. I hope this one was an exception and I’d love to know more!

By the way the local GM zone office was (and still is) two minutes away from this dealer so perhaps this dealer bought cars coming out of the zone.

Unfortunately the dealer codes for cars sold in Canada do not appear in either the PHS document or from the GM of Canada document I do know from the Canadian Poncho site the the zone number for The Montreal and southern part of quebec province was 86 but unfortunately they don't have the specific code for Harland so for now all I can say is it starts as 86-XXX.

Did a bit more digging and found a code for them elsewhere in the Canadian Poncho site. 86-544. However you should note that the way it was posted does not point out what model year the source invoice dates from. These codes tended to change sometimes and that dealer was in business from the 50's till the demise of Pontiac a dozen years ago. I bought my first new car there, a 93 Bonneville SE. The building is still there but now one side is a Budget rent-a-car and the other side is a body shop.
