'65 door glass adjustment
Hi guys,
point me in the right direction please. My passenger side door glass cocks(drops lower) at the rear when you roll down the window. If you roll it all the way down it jambs and you have to pull up on the glass to get it aligned again to roll the window up. What is the adjustment for that? I cant really tell whats moving/loose Thanks, Jeff |

That's a sedan window. The frame will keep the window straight. Mine is a hardtop....no frame

I just did mine recently, I believe that you need to adjust the track that is bolted to the inner door that the one regulator roller slides in- one of the bolts has an up-down adjustment - then re adjust the metal slide in that is attatched to the glass going into the rear track.

Cardo,
are you talking about the 2 bolts that hold the roller guide that mounts inside the door frame? the rear bolt is slotted up/down? i did try to adjust that, it moves the glass up/down, like to level, but my problem, it seems like the glass moves out of the track. Is there adjustments for the front/rear tracks? |

What you do to fix that is slide the glass forward as far as you can into the vent window channel, and then loosen the rear channel guide that is bolted to the bottom of the glass and slide it rearward further into the rear channel, but not so tight that it causes the window to bind, and tighten it up there. That is what keeps it in position forward and back.
