pontiacs4ever1971- well, the car is certainly close enough. Can you tell me any details like options or interior color? I appreciate your input.

did you go look at the illinois car?

In all honesty, no. But based on it having a replacement block and an incorrect color interior the $52k I believe is too high. I am not going to insult people with low ball offers. The fully restored yellow one at Mecum last night for $56k seemed pretty good, though I did not see it in person. What do you think Greg?

I agree with Greg on the Mecum Judge. Good market indicator on Judge values. If that car was Orbit , I'm sure it would have sold for high 70's maybe higher.

I totaly disagree with you Greg. I have the twin to that car and every show i take it to People tell me how beautiful the color is in person and they are tired of seeing the same old ones and being that guy said that they only made Two of them then I guess I have the only other Sierra Yellow car!!! LOL But really honestly I dont think its as bad as you say it is. I think the Green stripes make it. BTW My car is a 4 speed with air conditioing sold new in Arizona and built in California. One other note. The guy turned down the 56k it bid to. The reserve was higher because of the rare color. So They said.

According to the Mecum website that yellow car did sell for $56k, and with the 6% buyers fee, the final would be $59,360. Still seems decent for a complete matching, restored car.
How about back to the search for a more unrestored car? |
