Its a 2.92 stock; IRS rear.

Made in Australia by Harrup. Most of us just swap out the whole pumpkin, easier and about same price. Also, the new Camaro diffs will fit too. That would give you much better parts availability in future. I would suggest getting on a dedicated G8 forum if you need specifics on doing the swap.
