I finally found a mod worthy of dropping the word "cheeseification" to describe the shifter on this 72 Grand Prix convertible. Carl, what are you gonna do with that broken flagpole?

Have a link?
Doesn't look like a '72...more like a '67 or '68?

Diggin' the vibe on this 73 Firebird Esprit 35K original miles at $40K in Missouri. Are the front seats just dirty?

I dont know… the 70-73 Firebird was one of the most beautiful cars of all time, just a natural beauty! But this one… almost every decision made by the original owner takes away…

Unappealing color combination
Vinyl top does nothing for these cars
Redlines don’t look right
Dogdish really looks out of place
Bumper guards mess up the rear.

Just my opinion.

That 73 Espirit has the factory cloth/velour interior.
Sort of a doeskin color.
Don't see it very often

Wrong wheel/tire/hubcap combo
Haven't seen a full blank dash bezel like that in a long time either.

Price is about double its desirability

Nice to see the factory had issues getting the inside quarter trim to cover the pinchweld.

I think they would be lucky to get 25k for this.

North,I agree that the 70-3 was one of the most beautiful autos made.
Im torn between the rear spoiler on or off . Perhaps one of each then.
I had a 71 Esprit as a daily driver for many years, when I put a rear spoiler on it I was second guessing that move.
I think it got its rear styling cue from the 66 Tornado, which was later passed on to the Aurora.

Yup. I can tolerate the 74 for still having the early backlite window.

I likewise made the same error of adding a spoiler to a 1980 Yellowbird which my ex traded in at McNamara Orlando.

Thats where I bought the spoiler from in the mid 70s.

Wasnt the trade for that cute new compact called a T-1000?
