Default 1962 Pontiac Wonder Bar Radio - Plays Good

A nice looking wonder bar radio for 1962 Pontiac. Radio has been tested and plays good, dial light is also good. Not exactly sure how the wonder bar is supposed to work but it does trip, travel and return. Other GM wonder bars I've had didn't even do that. Radio has nice chrome, a few very minor pin point pits on a couple of the push buttons. Knobs and bezels are very nice. $175.00. At cost shipping is available.

Does it play good or “wunderbar”?

Not sure how a wonder bar works. This one moves until you take your finger off it. Radio plays as stated.

Delco Electramatic.
I was thinking that WonderBar was an early form of signal-seeking?
What does "trip, travel, and return" mean?

PMFJI...

The Wonderbar is indeed a signal seeking radio. With one momentary press, it should automatically seek to the next strong signal along the dial and stop. At the end of the dial, it should "wrap around" (or return, more accurately) to the lowest frequency on the dial and start over.

Wonderbars are great. If I didn't have a factory AM/FM in my '63, I'd jump on this one. It sounds like it might need a little work with the trimmer, but if no antenna was connected when testing, it might just behave as described (I've never tried).

Good luck with it, Bob.
