Formula Wheel Color
I have a (non-original) Formula steering wheel on my 73 Formula. It is off of a 78 Trans Am. My question is, what color should it be for an Oxblood deluxe interior? I have a tilt column, which is (correctly from what I understand) black, so I presume the hub and center of the steering wheel should be black, correct? Should the rim be Oxblood, or would it have been black? Right now the rim is tan, and I would like to change that.....

ALL 70-78 Formula wheels (on Trans ams) were BLACK,as were the columns......except for the Y88 S/E which was Camel Tan.

Thanks! You specified that all wheels on Trans Ams were black....did they use different colors in a Formula in 73, or would it have been black too?

Same deal on Formula's till 79 I believe....Esprit Skybird used a blue Formula wheel/column in 77/78
