Default '78 - '82 Delco Freedom II Battery core - Blue & White

Hi I have a low mile '79TATA. I'd like to find an original Blue/White Delco Freedom II battery for show (picture attached). Of course, it doesn't need to be in working order.

Hi Brew, thanks for the link. That is a good company. I have purchased their batteries before and they make a great reproduction black top.

Unfortunately, they do not make a blue/white battery like pictured. To the best of my knowledge this battery is not reproduced by anyone.

Hopefully I can find an original core, and clean it up to dress up the engine bay for shows.

What about paying a visit to a vinyl decal shop. Then find a green eye the right size and put new stickers on it.

Just looking around and saw this thread.

Hi Quicksilver, that's a picture of the battery I'm looking for. If I had a Delco Freedom II battery, I'm sure I could photo shop some decals if necessary.

The tough part about replicating this battery is the white case and blue top and 2 plastic covers.

I'm hoping to come across a core so I can refurbish it for the TATA.

Try contacting this place:

I am pretty sure they used to re-do batteries for people who wanted the originals to work again.

Hi Ransom, well as rare as these batteries are, I was able to locate two of them, both from the same owner. No sooner than I got them I ended up selling the TATA. One went with the car and this is the second one.
