If you will re read my post, you will see I said FS and FP radiators are assigned the '086 shroud.TA only came with the FP or FS radiator, hence '086 is a TA shroud. Your espirit had HD cooling, which I listed in one of my initial posts that the '086 would be supplied if HD radiator was an option. Again, the other shroud is for the 350 or base non RA 400 engines w/o HD cooling. I am pretty sure the tanks on the FP,FS radiators are larger than tanks on the standard 3 row radiators. Eitherway doesn't matter.. I think we have hashed this out to its end.. the pdf file I attached shows all anyone will need to know what is correct.

Default rad

Should my 71 stick, TA, non ac, 342 rear, have a 3 or 4 core? I need a rad, if anyone can help, and a 8436 starter. I have a 086 shroud. Is that correct?

I believe 3 row would be correct unless your car was ordered with heavy duty cooling.

Agree. My 71 non-AC stick 3.42 car still has its original 3 core.

What date coded 8436 were you looking for?

Nice.. an original car that can maybe offer up some info....

Does your radiator still have the tag?
Can you tell what the tank codes are?
If your shroud is original too, which one is it, the 114 or the 086?

Not meaning to mess with Greg's wanted thread, maybe we should move this over to the regular forum?

I'll start a new thread there.

Agree with what you say. I have 5 original Harrison radiators and they all came from 70-73 Trans ams with different cooling options. Tanks are key.
