Default '72 Air conditioning muffler and foam element

I am looking for an AC muffler with nice foam. This is the part that rests on a shelf on the passenger inner fender well.

please email pictures to: gregsm@earthlink.net

Thanks, Greg

Thumbs up

I have a similar muffler, as mine has a charging port by the hose barbs, and good foam. It was removed probably ten years ago from a parts 71/72 Firebird with a sealed/charged a/c system. Was removed and capped immediately.

Will have to find it in my storage and get pics for ya. I would take $75 plus freight for it.

Let me know if you would be interested and I'll dig it out today or tomorrow.

DanC

Hi Dan, that sounds great. I think this one has a charging port to, but it's blocked by the hoses. Please send pics when you have it dug out.

Thank you!

Default Photos...

I found it and the tag I put on it shows I removed it from a '71 FB on 4/97.
Shipping FedEx Home Delivery is $15, if you have a biz addy it would be about $3 cheaper.

Hi Dan, thanks for posting these photos. I asked around and the '72 does not have the charging valve in the end of the canister.

Still looking...
