Was that car the one once owned by Mr. BN down in Kent? Or was that a different car?

Dash button is the "boat starter"....

One of those things that's always been there...."adds character".

Note the radio delete plate?

That's one of the reasons I wanted the car.......

Had the delete plate on my shelf....and seeing as how this W66 had no radio when it was built...I thought it was a GREAT place to store it....

T'was BN 's car....he bought it from Craig (Drag Star Lemans)...just before the turn of the century.........@ the BOP Drags in Bremerton....where it was running high 13's....on stock size street radials...

These pics were taken that day,if I'm not mistaken....with Craig...murdering the tires....

The tags are the original ones from when it was sold NEW....the red tab on the front is the 1970 orig.

The documentation is AWESOME....original bill of sale...finance contract AND Protecto Plate....with BOTH original licence plates...

It's called Coranando Gold...I believe....

Not MY favorite color....much prefer Granada Gold....on this car....OR Keylime Green.....

BUT...it will prolly remain the original color if and when it gets new paint...

I remember seeing that car at Brian's about 15 years ago.
My buddy Dave and I co-owned a literal twin to it a about 35 years ago;
-Coronado Gold, black deluxe
-L78 / M20 / 3:55
-tint, am/fm, rally IIs,
-power steering, gauges w/ the big clock
-no power brakes, no console

I like the color myself. I'd rather have Coranado Gold than the Palomino Copper one I just bought.

I believe this one's been tossed about before. IIRC it was for sale last fall and looks to be up for grabs again....not sure if it's by the same seller or not. HOWEVER, unlike the previous one I posted up, This seems to be waayyy closer to "100% ORIGINAL" unlike the other so called target, eh?....

I had a Les Paul "Coppertop" (like a Goldtop) that was exactly that color!

NO excuses THERE.....

That poor "smallblock" must be wheezin" when it's pushing the a/c comp and air pump at the same same time....

I get sexually aroused when I see that MUCH overspray on the floorboards..(providing that it's factory applied overspray...)

That looks like a pretty nice car, with the two biggies it appears: Very solid no rust, and unmessed with. Perfect foundation with the deluxe interior and gauges to work from for a build. But I have to agree on appearance, it is like a lollipop car. Removing vinyl top or going to a black one would change appearance greatly. Ditch whitewalls. It is the "Esprit" look to the hilt, however.

I agree... that is a very nice car...black top and interior... I'd drive it... Just not digging the Christmas candy cane barber pole look..

Mine's not really a CreamPuff, more like a Keylime Pie!! (Currently in mothballs waiting for me to finish a '69 GTO project & some needed work on the '70 TA.)
