Here's the latest count of the Formulas I have tentatively scheduled for the 2017 MCACN event:

1970: TBD & TBD & TBD
1971: Dennis' C. Copper, Larry's L.Green, & Sean's N. Silver
1972: Bob's Black & Mike's Sundance, & TBD
1973: Jame's R. Blue, Rick's F. Red, & Dadsformula A. Blue
1974: Brian's S. Yellow SD, John's A. Blue SD, & Dan's A. Silver (we also have 74 SD455 Formula's S. Yellow SD as well)

I'm still looking for those elusive '70 RAIII's...I know PMD made some...where are you???!!! And I need another '72 Formy as well. As you can see the display will be 16 Formulas once we get the '70 birds.

I have 70 ram air. Its atoll blue with sandlewood interior. It should be ready by spring at the latest. When is the show?

Very Nice 70FormulaRAIII! It's great to finally get a RAIII Formy in the show. The 2017 MCACN is always the weekend before Thanksgiving, so Nov. 16th-19th. Move-in is the first two days (16-17) and the actual show the last two days (18-19).

Bob Ashton is also requesting a name for the Formula display so he can start promoting it on the website, mailers, etc. Who has a clever play on the Formula namesake for the promotion?

Something like "Formulas for Success" (I know, pretty lame), but you get the idea. Let's see what we can come up with!

The 70-RAIII are really not that far of of the performance of the std 'L78 cars - maybe you could even find some nice non-RA cars to fill the slots ~ I mean not all '71 455HO Formulas were "ram air" equipped, and it is very easy to breeze over cars which are really cool in their own right...

71-74 Formula 400 & Formula 455 cars were no slouches in their own right.

But, what would be super cool is if someone could find that cool gold '70 RAIII/3spd car that was in HPP years ago - that was a really unique car!

I had a chance to buy this car from the original owner in the 90's. I passed on it and a friend ended up getting it. He still has it.
