Excellent times, know just think what it would run with some little tweeking. I heard the air box is quite restrive.Add some headers and you have a nice 12 second car.
NickV how is the back seat for head room and how about space in the trunk, I am trying to talk the wife into one, but need room for any future addditions to the family.

I wonder if these things are like the F-cars- they had a diode that limited true power for several thousand miles to help break in the moter/tranny/rear?
That's a very impressive time.

Three runs.
Launched at idle on all runs, slipping the clutch, then flooring it. bad wheel spin on the first run, but no wheel hop . Speed shifted on the 3rd run.
1st run 13.6@103
2nd run 13.45@104.
3rd run 13.3@104
It's all in the launch and the first 60'
1st run 60' time 2.1
2nd run 60' time 1.94
3rd run 60' time 1.91
I hate that clunking sound from the rear when shifting from 1st to 2nd.
I now have 1024 miles on the car. Next mod will be ls1edit and cold air induction. Then later on a supercharger.

Thanks. Well the back seat headroom is actually pretty good I feel. My buddy who is 6'2" had no problem with head room or getting in and out of the car. Trunk, well.. It's ok I guess for packing up some small luggage, but could be bigger.
Here is a pick of the trunk.

Probably a half keg. Of the 2 I saw last night, one of the guys opened the trunk and we saw a good look. Couldn't even get a good load of groceries in it.

Im sure it will get quicker when the engine losens up more. Those are great times. Nick how much does the car weigh? I wish we would get some in this area so I could see one in person.

Does anyone know if the GTO will be available in Canada next year? We can't even get the TV commercials up here. Even the US channels have Canadian commercials dubbed in. Damn government!
