Eckler's Goodyear Radial Tires
Has anyone bought and used these tires? Any idea who makes these for Ecklers?
https://www.ecklers.com/tire-g70-x-1...0-11659-1.html With exception of size designation, originals were 205R x 14, they are similar in appearance to the original Goodyear radials that came on my 68.

Wow...$317.99 each. Says ships direct from the manufacturer, but also says "...from Dearborn Classic's"

It seems 'Dearborn Classics' is another name for Ecklers

I would assume that there is only one company making retro tires. Cokers lists that one for $410. They also say drop shipped directly. No mention of who actually makes them.

Hopefully a small tangent will be humoured...
I aspire to eventually get a set of repop tires, so I looked into this; Coker Tire seems to mostly have Firestone tires, and if I wanted a non-white wall Goodyear, it looks like Eclkers is the way to go; Their site is confusing, as the same tire seems to be listed over and over again under different applications (but no 70-73 Firebird/Camaro listings for a 14" tire!?) This one appears to be for a pre-1970 tire, and has only "POLYGLASS" in white letters (in addition to the tire brand name). https://www.ecklers.com/chevelle-tir...-261754-1.html I am guessing this is wrong for my car. This one appears to read "WIDE TREAD F70-14" in white letters: https://www.ecklers.com/tire-f70-x-1...1-11628-1.html I am guessing that this is also wrong for my car. These two appear to say "POLYGLASS F70-14" in white letters, but they also have different alternate part numbers (something I was using to eliminate duplicate tires with different applications): https://www.ecklers.com/tire-f70-x-1...0-11627-1.html https://www.ecklers.com/el-camino-ti...-261749-1.html Both of these tires appear to be correct for my car (based on images shared elsewhere here in the past), but I cannot discern what differentiates these two. Does anyone know what differentiates them? I can see from my assembly manual that there were four OE blackwall tires (Firestone, Goodrich, Goodyear, and Uniroyal), and four different OE white letter tires (Firestone, Goodyear, Uniroyal, and General) At this time, I think the Goodyears look sharper when compared to the Firestone Wide Ovals, but want to keep my options open, while learning what is correct vs incorrect (which is why I have indexed period correct part images).
