Default Gm mark of excellence stickers

Does anyone have photos of the original GM mark of excellence reflective stickers that went on the door jamb.I know there are different shades of blue and am curious what color blue they were in 69.
Thanks

Medium blue is the resto item i got from PY. Faded blue is what originals look like after 55 years.

What years were these used? I thought these weren't correct.

Good question.I suppose I should have asked if they were used after 67.Need to find someone with a car that hasn’t been restored to find out.

My Fremont build 68 never had them.

67 was last year they were used. now 90% of everything has them because of resto companies selling them as "correct" since the 80's so now 30 year old restorations of 68+ have them and everyone thinks they're original. you can file that one next to the buick style "pontiac" air cleaner decals!

The car that I got my driver's license in had them. It was a '66 Impala. Never seen them on a 68 or later car.

My parents had a '67 Skylark that had them. Then a '68 GTO that did not have them. Actually I think the Skylark might have had it on the driver side only, but that was a long time ago ... not sure I trust my memory on that.

I seem to recall reading that the door sticker disappeared
when the seatbelt buckle logos changed from the Fisher
Body carriage to the GM logo.

I'd agree to that too. My 1 repaint 67 Lemans had them on both doors, but the color was definitely different on the right side door so I suspect it was a repop added to the car because someone thought it was missing.

Thought I read somewhere (Chevelle Forums?) that the sticker was applied to the drivers door only.

Here's a pic of one off a 67 Firebird 400 off driver door. It is metal, looks like aluminum. Haven't really seen on later original Pontiacs.

Owners put stickers or decals on cars that didn't come with them. They see someone else did it and it multiplies.

I stuck a stick on magnet to the back and put on my office cabinet.

THAT is the faded look i referred to. Probably an original timeframe look, and not really faded, but dulled or dirtied. That foil cleaned-up will likely look excellent.
