Default So John Wallace, How is...............

.....your Twin Turbo 1/2 Dragster Project coming along with the Turbos and Waste-gates you got from me? Been about 5 years now. No effort to put them on the car from what I have read.

More effort to sell them on PY vs do anything with them, apparently.

Why did you give up on them? Should have been a piece of cake to package and plumb them on a 1/2 Dragster.

Just wondering.

Tom V.

Why are you like that?

Did he pay you for them? Then STFU!

Once you're paid you loose the right to piss all over him!

Bite Me Boss,

1) He came to me for advice on putting boost on his Engine/1/2 Dragster.

2) He was not the only guy interested in them and others could have had them on THEIR engines over the last 5 years. But because he was a Pontiac Guy I gave him a
chance to install them vs other people.

3) If he did not understand how to install them on a 1/2 Dragster I was willing to help him with the install.

So my questions are valid.

Why didn't he install them? Obviously he did not pick other larger turbos.

I do not lose the right to anything. He got the turbos (for the price I stated) on the CONDITION THAT HE WOULD USE THEM ON HIS PONTIAC DRAGSTER.

So piss off. You know nothing about the agreement made when the Turbos were sold.

LMAO.
Not Bad, Not Bad at all Mr ponjohn. That would probably work.

I suppose feedback could have been used but there was none. I already did the PM routine. I had 10 hours of drive time involved in bringing the turbos and wastegates to John and his brother at the INDY PRI show, I believe the last year that it was there before moving to Orlando Florida. I gave him a very good deal on a couple of custom built Turbos and the Turbonetics wastegates. Promises were made that the Turbos would be installed on his race car, not advertised for sale or sold on PY.

Course some like the Boss apparently do not believe in gentlemen's agreements and once you have the parts in your possession, you can do whatever you want with the parts and break those agreements.

Shame on me for trusting Wallace on this deal. Today, I know a lot more about John vs in those days.

Still the questions need to be asked: What happened? Lack of money? Not time to fabricate the exhaust system and other boosted engine systems, not willing to build a turbo engine for the car, lots of unanswered questions.

I also feel I do not owe the Boss an apology for my post to him. The "gentlemen's agreement" was with John, his brother, and myself. Why some internet idiot thinks he can impose his opinions on my business agreement between the Wallace Brothers and me is childish.

Your questions may be valid but your tactics are not. If you didn't want people to weigh in on the topic then you should have kept it private.

If your intention was to embarrass him into answering you I'd have to say you've failed. Your title here may give you an over inflated opinion of yourself but if asked, I'd be willing to wager more people on this board would value John's contributions to the hobby than yours.

You know my neighbors have a dog that starts eating his own **** when he feels he doesn't get enough attention - I guess some will take it any way they can, cause a ruckus just to get the limelight on them.

Calling the kettle black are you Mr Boss. With a PY handle of "The Boss" I would say that YOUR OVERINFLATED EGO is right up there at the top of the list.

You being an expert on eating **** apparently, I will take your statement as fact in the case of the dog. I don't have a dog, you want to be my *****. Seems like you are campaigning for the job.

Back on topic, Still waiting, John, on why you did not use the turbo set-up.

Hello George, what took you so long to get here?

One last comment for you MR BOSS. We have a topic on PY (in the Race Forum) about a guy buying a RA-V engine from a member and his displeasure with the way it was put together and it goes for 100 pages. No one (like you MR BOSS) says chit about that poster voicing his issues with the deal. In my case I ask John a couple of questions about why he did not put the parts on his car, period. An you post that it is inappropriate. Double standard there MR BOSS?

I believe there was more wrong with it than just the way it was put together.

No argument on that point, my point being the difference in your thread having a large number of pages where you asked multiple questions and posted pictures and my thread asking Wallace a simple question about why he did not put the parts on his race car. Apparently "the expert on eating chit", feels there was difference, and posted his opinion.
