$100 Part... Really?
The sinking feeling I have now is that something as simple as the frame mounted bracket to which the motor mounts attach is:
a) unique to V8 cars which means I have the wrong ones for my '64 and b) outrageously expensive. Motor mounts can be had for $25 a pair.... do I really have to pay $100 for the brackets? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AIT&viewitem=

Put a want ad in the classified section. I'm sure that you will get a set for much less.
As you see in the Ebay ad, they fit a lot of years.

Yeah - I freaked initially but found some already blasted for less than half of that.
Thanks! Caveat Emptor sure applies to this hobby doesn't it...!

I'm almost certain those are being reproduced and offered by Pont.vendors.I don't recall the price.

You also have to remember that the brackets on Ebay had been blasted and powder coated. I'm sure that cost something.
