What is the correct washer sequence on the bolts? Mine had bolts in from the frame, no washer, then an split ring washer before the nut on the top side.

Just wanted everyone to know, the price went up $2.00.

They are $40.00 shipped with PA residents adding 6% tax.

Thanks

Installed mine. Motor mounts don't settle down onto the plates enough to get the bolts straight in. Have tried numerous times jacking up and setting down the motor again. Still don't align. Might try jacking up rear of trans. Anyone have a similar experience and solved it?

I had a similar issue getting mine to drop onto the frame mounts. I cant remember exactly what I did. I think I had one bolt in and then started to jack up the car under the engine crossmember with the intention of unbolting the motor mount from the engine and try it a different way when the frame must have flexed a bit and it dropped on. Hope this helps and works for you.

Reason I got the plates is the pan was touching the crossmember and the tie rods seek fittings indenting the pan. Will try jacking up on crossmember again. Ugh

Different tie rod ends with proper fitting location are available , aftermarket pans are a problem as is the engine mounts that are from India try using just 1 spacer . Also too thick trans. mount is no good / bent or raised cross-member as well .

IMHO, the plates are too thick for my car, putting the motor mounts in a bind on my '65 GTO with manual trans. Thinner plates would be better. Let me know if/when you will be doing those.

As a temporary solution, I have the driver side installed only. This is not ideal because it is very obvious that the engine is leaning.

Also one needs to be careful of hose to a/c belt clearance. On a tri-power a/c car, the passenger side plate will cause the a/c belt to saw into the upper hose...... makes for a big mess when she goes!

Finally got the car in running condition, now just need to finish the interior. The 1/4" spacers worked perfectly! Everything lines up as it should. This forum was a tremendous help in learning about the problem and providing a remedy. So grateful to Mike for helping!
