Doggie downers
I have a 6 month old Cocker Spaniel that is on 8 cylinders 24/7! Walk the crap out of him at night, still wants to get up and play at 2 AM. Any OTC type of calming night time products or tricks..

Yeah there’s some stuff you can buy over the counter that’s like doggy Xanax , but waking him so much is probably making him hyper . Best thing you can do is talk to him / her in a very calm voice quietly ok relax relax they’ll usually get it. Idk I’ve always been really good w dogs never formally train them but mine always stay by my side and stay relatively calm. I do have a dog right now that can’t be away from me though she freaks out if I leave her . She’s gotta be by my side constantly. . Make it tough sometimes because she gets so upset and shakes like crazy I feel bad for her . And this is a big dog not some
Little Thing. But best dog , so loyal so well trained otherwise I snap and point to the ground next to me she’ll come sit right there and won’t move .

Thanks , Since posting this I have read that exercise too late in the evening can keep him from sleeping well. I’ll try to tone it down.
