Default '73-'77 A-bodies at Desert Valley Auto Parts

Shot these pictures of various '73-'77 A-Body Pontiacs at Desert Valley Auto Parts in Phoenix, Arizona this past Saturday. If you are ever visiting in the Phoenix area, I highly recommend taking a tour of this multi-make salvage yard. They specialize in older cars only.

Here is a picture of the data plate for that '74 Lemans GT. What does the last line "73X" mean?

Just out of curiosity, were the prices reasonable?

In my opinion this yard's prices were not cheap since they exclusively specialize in old cars and have a captive market. For example, a friend of mine had inquired the price for a rust free RR quarter panel for his '74 Plymouth Satellite/Road Runner and was quoted $750.

That's honestly what I was expecting considering the amount of advertising they do in all of the national magazines. Thanks
