For a 1974 TA, on the outside bullet mirrors, the gasket between the mirror and the body - is it supposed to be the body color or left the natural black?

Black.
I always thought it looked cheesy when people would respray the car and just paint the gasket instead of doing it right.

Thanks
I thought it was supposed to be black but my two examples both had them painted. However, I thought that I should double check since both cars had be repainted, and by Krusty by the looks of it.... ------------------ Please remember that clones are people two. |

My 76 has been painted at least once, but the gaskets are black. I'm planning on replacing them (and the mirrors) for the next paint job.
