Think I remember this one being for sale on Ebay years ago. think it went for 20k mid resto condition at that time. For some reason #'s 202 and 30 pop into my head as tirbo cars. Could be mistaken.

Default #202 debut at MCACN '15

All-

Well finally after many years of sitting dead on a driveway in CA, a restoration that started in OH, moved to GA and then lost interest before being sold and shipped to MO, #202 is finally a complete and running car again!

It has been a huge undertaking, and without the help of Joe Hand, I am not sure where #202 would be. There is still more cleaning and work to be done, but I consider it to be about done.

I took the car to the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in Chicago last weekend. If you haven't heard about this show or attended you are seriously missing out. I was more excited about attending and seeing the other cars than actually showing mine!

#202 won a "Pick Award" from Pontiac editor and writer, Don Keefe. As a sponsor, Don had the opportunity to select his favorite car out of the close to 600 in attendance. It was a very humbling opportunity to receive this!

Long term goals for the car would include getting it out to the track (Joe driving!) and seeing just what the car will do. I would like to get it to some more shows, possibly the Nats? The Hot Rod Power tour would be cool, just not sure about driving the car that much?

Thanks for your interest in the car!
Jim

Very Pretty Car! So glad to see it running under boost again.

The Hand Family are great Pontiac people.

Default Battery mount?

Joe Hand started the car this afternoon, one click of the key and it fired right up! Joe has worked tirelessly on getting the car back in its original form: trunk mounted battery with safety switch, rear mounted Red electric Holley fuel pump, H-O tuned, numbers matching quadrajet carb, and Rajay turbocharger.

Will keep you posted on more progress and pictures!
Can you provide pics of the trunk mounted battery?
