Default '66 421 motor mount vs. '70 400 block

I was about to order some motor mounts, but all my research did was confuse me...

I want to put a 1970 400 into my '66 Bonneville till I can get the 421 rebuilt. But it doesn't look like the mounts match up.

This is the mount off of the '66 421 held up against the '70 400.

In the PY catalog it lists a 70-74 mount (GFE68) as "For 70-74 A body 455's. All 70-74 F body - 3 bolt mount. not compatable with 64-72 A body 389/400 or 67-9 F body V8 frame brackets! Use the 2 bolt mounts for the vehicle when replacing blocks FOR RACING MNTS USE RPE147"

The GME60 in the PY catalog looks like it uses the long bolt...So will I need a different mount on my cross member?

I put a '70 455 in my '62 GP and used stock 2-bolt mounts. I thought all later blocks ('70 and newer) had more hoes, but there are always two of them that allow using or earlier mounts. Isn't that correct?

Pretty much untill 1975 Pontiac blocks should have the bosses for all mounts.
The early ones have the two holes then later they all had 5 bosses for all mounts.

That's what I thought... But the motor mount I took off the '66 didn't look like it would bolt up to the '70. The '70 is in an engine stand, and I just assumed it used the standard mounting points.

I've seen that some mounts seem specific for the 455, but I thought the 70 400 would be an easy match up.

The '66 mount should work just fine.
