I messed around with rear tire sizes until I got what I liked. So here are some pics for comparison. The springs are all Eibach lowering, or so the PO said when I bought the car. I do have the dreaded left side sag too (the car, that is).

Fronts are either 225x70 15's as I recall, and the rears that I like are 275x50. The 275x60 was too much rake for me:

Are you sure on those sizes? 225/70's are 27.4" tall and the 275/50's on the rear are only 25.8" tall.

Would be unusual to have front tires that are 1.6" taller than the rears and your photos look like the fronts are shorter.

Oops, I meant 225/60 up front.

Adam,
I really like how your car sits. I hope when I get mine back together it has that same stance. But if not, I have already picked out the front end parts to lower it. I think the rear will be fine but the front end is so much lighter because of all of the aluminum.

I like it in the pictures you posted with less rake. I like them to sit where the top of the tires are just in the wheel well.

Exactly! I agree 100%. Here it is as it sits today. The keen eye will see that the name on the sidewalls doesn't match the tread pattern.

My car is too high. Planning on lowering 2" front and 1-2" rear.

Nice looking 68 you got there but:
Too low? No such thing.

LOL! Thanks!
I've seen pictures of your car in the past, It looks great and I admire the fact that your road race it. Your car was inspiration for the road racing theme on my build, Hence the wheels patterned after the Minilites used on some of late 60s early 70s the Trans Am series cars.

I honestly don't know which ones they are - I have an easy dozen sets of rear springs here and can swap them in easily to check heights.
