Default Install of Hood/Cowl Seal for '64 Grand Prix

I purchased a replacement hood/cowl seal for my '64 Grand Prix. My car being in AZ for several decades, all of the rubber was destroyed and I don't have any clear photos of how the seal is to be installed.

The seal looks like a "J" laid on its side and is held on by about 8 pushpin clips that hold it to the area in front of the cowl/above the firewall in a small channel. Laid down, each edge of the seal has a taller and a shorter edge that are turned up. I can't tell though if the seal is to be installed with the taller edge of the seal against the front part of the channel or turned around with the taller edge at the rear and the shorter edge toward the front of the channel. The seal will fit either way, but I'm sure only one way is correct.

If someone has a '64 B-Body or a photo and can tell me which way the seal is installed, that would be great! Thank you in advance for your help.
