The nuts I have are the ones that have the thin cap on a regular lug nut. I don’t like those. I’m wanting to use my solid McGard lug nuts. I know they’re longer than original, but if the 60 degree cone is correct, I’ll use them. They seem okay. 60 degrees is normal for steel wheels on street cars.

they should work fine if they match the stock lugs angle.
they make repros of the originals that dont have the stainless shell/cap, they are just solid chrome nuts that look like originals & are good quality for a cheap price. https://www.ebay.com/itm/26164583689...gAAOSwMbtfjwEG |

I must have gotten the last one. I got a tracking number. We’ll see if they actually show up.

Not sure if you went with the YO 17" but either way, Customworks sells a very nice 7/16 extended shank lug nut that works with the 17" reproduction wheel. Here's a link and they are about 1/2 down the page: http://customworksperformance.net/brakes.html
Great service. Ordered on Friday and they arrived on Monday afternoon!
