What cars are interchangeable as far as spindles, etc for changing my 65 over to disc brakes in the front?

For sure any GM "A" body through 1972 and 1969 through 1972 GP and Monte Carlo.

For a straight bolt-on with no issues at all with alignment and fitment, the '69-'72 A body is the way to go.

Best/easiest for an A-body is the 69 single piston with a dual master (do not want a 4-piston). Many threads on how. Does not even need to be power (though all GM cars with disk brakes were power). Do need to use the proper proportioning valve to prevent rear lockup on a hard stop.
