Default 1970-72 GTO LEMANS AM/FM Stereo Radio Refurbished

1970-72 GTO AM/FM Stereo - already refurbished and ready to be installed - $750.00

Up for sale is a beautifully restored GTO AM/FM Stereo RED-dot radio. There are other radios on E-bay that have chrome push buttons which are incorrect for the GTO... This was going into a 72 4spd GTO project car that was scrapped instead. We gathered NOS and restored parts for years, but decided the body was too far gone!. I bench tested this radio and it works great..! I never had a radio that had so many stations being picked up before. Usually they have 3-4 stations, but this one seemed like every turn of the tuning knob picked up stations. TWO 8-10 Ohm speakers are required. If you only have 1 speaker in the front, I can provide you with the optional blue wire for your rear speaker; you just have to purchase the speaker. The two radio bezels are original. Notice the non-reproduced BALANCE bezel. The available reproduction TONE bezels are slightly off because the lettering is larger than originals. These bezels are in near perfect condition.
The radio knobs are reproduction. The only difference is that they do not have the metal sleeve inside the knob to hold onto the shaft. You actually have to put a piece if paper inside this hole OR a dot of glue so that the knob will not fall off. Trying to find an original knob in this nice of shape is very hard! Any questions, please message me. Thanks... Mike
