Default Does anyone know if this car still exists?

Around 15 years ago this car showed up at the Portland Swap Meet. I believe the asking price was $12,000. And if my memory isn't completely failed it had a 383 SBC in it. I'm sure on the Chevy part not so sure on the 383 part. Anyway on Sunday afternoon I started negotiating with the owner. He hadn't had much interest in the car and I asked if he would sell it without the engine. He was up for that as he had another project that it could go right into but, he had to ask his wife. The money part was her interest. After about 45 minutes we had a deal. Then this very drunk guy stumbled up and demanded to know the price. The owner pointed at the sign on the windshield. The drunk swayed around to the car while the owner and I talked over the details. Then the drunk came up and grabbed the owner and said he would buy the car. The owner looked at me, then at his wife nodding her head, and said "Sorry, she wants the money and hates the car. The last time I saw the car, before I stumbled on these photos, was watching the drunk was trying to drive it out of the swap meet 2 hours later. My buddy and I figured it would be wrecked before it got to its new home.
I believe the drunk guy was from Eugene or Medford or some place in that general area.

I've lived in the Willamette Valley area for the last 14 years and I've never seen that car, which doesn't prove much.

Looks like I see WA. plated on it. Possibly from Vancouver area. Looks vaguely familiar. Def has that '80's vibe to it.

The owner I believe was from Ridgefield. The car body and paint was done by Jazz Man Customs in Portland (Where I stumbled across the photos)
I wasn't particularly enthusiastic about the shaker addtion and the T-tops. However the car had a Doug Nash 5 speed and a bunch of suspension modifications. The front end had the arms and spindles replaced with roundy round parts, the rear springs were on sliders with a track bar, cowl frame braces under the hood and the roll bar looked to be installed well. I believe it had 10" wheels on the front and 12's on the rear. Which wasn't easy back before billet wheels were everywhere.
And there was some goofy stuff. Like the 2 square grilles in the tail light panel. They were plumbed to a pair of fans that sucked air from the rear wheel wells. The owner said they would blow smoke jets out when doing a burnout. I'm not sure if I remember correctly but I don't believe the seller set up the suspension just the rest of the car. In real life the front end looked much better than the photos show here.
But definitely a 70s show piece.
I remember my buddy joking about how bad the new owner's buyer's remorse was going to be in the morning after bring a coyote ugly car home.

I feel like I've seen pictures of this car before.

I like it.

Who took a non T top car, make it a T top car, then puts in a roll bar?
All seems oddly counterproductive.. unless its all about "looks" or "stance" ???
