69 Firebird gas pedal
I need a gas pedal assembly for my son's 69 bird. Ames only shows the assembly for a 67; would that work on his 69? Any other sources?
Thanks, Importsmasher

I always thought the first gen all used the same gas pedal. it was also used on X cars and later F cars through the 70's. The Ames catalog listing is probably just a mistake. Chrome trim was optional.

'67 is different than '68. '67 uses a rod and '68 uses a cable.

north - AG is correct here, all three years of the First Gen are different, and the Second Gen's are different from those.
We make DBW pedal adapters for the 69's and Second Gens. |
