Default 71 and 72 gto nose interchange question.

Hello all,

What interchanges between a ‘71 and a ‘72 gto nose?
I’m talking everything ahead of the doors.
Fenders, hood, bumper, grille, valance, etc.
I have the chance to try to make one complete good nose, out of two, but one is a ‘71 and the other is a ‘72.
Just trying to see if this is doable.
Thanks!

Biggest difference is the grille position. 72 also has the fender vent.

Would the grilles interchange?

Mounts and design are different 71 is near the front of the opening and '72 is inset. This is a 72.

The bumpers for 71 and 72 are the same. The mounts for the grills are in the same location for 71 and 72. The 72 grill bracket has a deep offset built into it, the 71 bracket bolts flush to the bracket. The key piece is a good radiator support, the 71 and 72 gto (endura nose) are the same. But they different than a 70 gto, or 70,71, 72 Lemans (unless it has the endura bumper).
