Lower windshield chrome trim removal
Couple questions regarding my 67 Firebird.
I see 2 tools for the dislodging of the clips that hold on the chrome trim on the windshield. One is like pliers and one is a flat hook type wiggler. Which one works better. And .my second question is regarding the *lower chrome trim on the windshield. Does it remove like the side and top trim, or does it have different fasteners and require removing the cowl and fenders? Thank you |

I have both types of of trim removal tools and prefer the solid one with the arrow shaped head. The lower trim is held on by fasteners under the cowl panel and in the door jamb. If I remember correctly they have a 1/4 head on them,if not 1/4 they are 5/16. Its been a few years since I have pulled that piece of trim.
