Default American Powertrain OEM Bellhousing

Was wondering if anyone has any experience with this bellhousing? My oem is warped. Setting it on a granite table with block side down, it rocks back and forth a least .020. When you flip it, it will rock .004. Have it at a cnc shop that says they can straighten it but Jody of Jody’s transmission tells me to trash it and find another one. This isn’t a race car so I don’t think I need to get a scatter shield. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

As long as thats the only issue .020 isnt that much over that span the bolts will pull it down to the straight block face .. I would use it especially since it's not a race car and most bell housings are not even checked in that manner just reused if not cracked

Thanks for replying. Forgot to mention that I am trying to do parallel and concentric alignment. The issue I don’t want to run into is fighting getting it right by adding shims where necessary and rebolting and having it be off somewhere else because it’s warped.
