Ever wonder what the letters C & H on your temp gauge mean? Yeah, me neither.
The internet is a wonderful place. My home page just displayed a featured link this wonderfully informative article from an automotive website on decoding the mystery of your car's temperature gauge.

You've been telling me you're a genius since you were seventeen In all the time I've known you I still don't know what you mean The weekend at the college didn't turn out like you planned The things that pass for knowledge I can't understand

I can't wait to read about what the E and F mean on the fuel gauge and what the various causes of an E or F reading may be.

I guess i should ask for a similar "enlightenment" for the "winter" & "summer" labels of the Arrow-Meter on my 1917 Buick's radiator cap.

“If Aladdin’s lamp appears, hunny, pull over someplace safe as soon as possible and turn off the engine” The icons they started including in interiors back in the 70s are pretty fascinating.
