The philips "bulb finder" is a handy resource for finding the LED equivalent.

Great...thanks....knew I saw the chart somewhere...Guess it's a bit big...for the owners manual...

The one I am struggling with is the reading lamp bulb...941.....

My existing bulb is GE 941F.....and it appears to be similar to an 1157..with a double contact....Perhaps I will try one..

94 IF is listed with the Special Order equipment as a Reading Lamp. 12V rated 15 candle power. Probably only single filament not double filament like an 1157. Double contact for one contact to be grounded through a switch to turn it on like the dome light.

The mustang bumpers worked great...and they were phillips drive screws....so nobody will ever know they were brand X....

The rear shock listings ...are hit and miss 59-64 should be the same I think...

I found a cheapie Monroe rear....that should work.....I will advise when I attempt installation..
Thought I would check the lengths...and it appears that my replacements are a bit shorter.

I sourced the lower stud kit...and am tempted...to try them...even though they are short......

THoughts?

How much shorter are they? In the first pic the new one looks a lot shorter than in the second pic.

The originals are 23"....and new Monroes are 20 1/2"

Rock auto lists numerous 63 Rears at 20"...but the KJB's are 22.3....and some come with the stud kit..

I own the 20" Monroes...so I will prolly try them..
