FWIW the carb spacing is 3 9/16" apart front end stud to rear front stud so will check Holley spacing if 4160s will fit.

Pictures of Holleys on adapters, if you want that option.

Are those just standard adapters? No mods for this intake? I have a pair of 660’s I thought about using. Looks good.
Actually, with no secondary metering plate, 660’s would fit no problem…..

Standard adapters, 660s will need a little more spacer height for the mechanical throttle linkage they use, I have a pair I tired before I put these 715s on. As their linkage spins that big arm will hit. Regular vacuum secondary and probably DPs usual linkage will clear. The ones I put on I had trimmed the bottom tab off back in 1971 to clear my 409 manifold with them sideways. Recolored and freshened a couple of years ago by Sean at SMI.

Center hung bowls are just a hair too long.

Couldn’t resist setting my blower carbs on it. No adapters but ya, it would work! Probably never fit under a hood though.

Our Royal Replica
Received my intake on Friday. Installing it on our 62 Royal Replica. Replacing the S&K tunnel ram. Making this car more Super Dutyish under the hood. My goal is to run a few NSS with SEGA and NSS at Norwalk next year.

I thought I would provide a little fitment information on the new bathtub intake into a 62 Catalina. So this is a late model intake fit into a 62 Catalina with a flat, stock hood. This intake has 1/2" spacers and a thin gasket on each side of the spacer. the AFB carburetors are genuine Carter units, 750 CFM with the large diameter air horns. {shorter carbs) With the hood installed and closed, there is approx. 3/4" clearance at the rear carb to the hood and slightly less for the front carb. ( probably about 5/8"). There is NO ROOM for a proper air cleaner of any type. As Tom S has suggested, I am going to install the Ram Air spark arrestor screens over the carbs to keep gravel and large crap out of them. This will be a temporary solution. Future plans call for the factory metal hood scoop being installed for proper clearance and more room to allow air into the carbs. My experience, at least on the dyno, is this manifold is not a happy camper with the carbs directly bolted to the manifold top. But that would gain 1/2" additional clearance. Hope this fitment info helps anyone running one in a Catalina, Grand Prix, or Bonneville.
