73 SD wanted
Since I finally sold my Dodge a couple weeks ago, I am now on the hunt for a nice '73 SD455. I would prefer a Formula simply based on the wide variety of color possibilities. Original engine is a must. Anyone out there have a 73 SD Formula they are tired of, or know someone that wants to get rid of one? Feel free to PM me.
Thanks, Steve |

It's right where it needs to be - now if he could just unload that other Mopar in the garage.....

I already posted a similar request in the "wanted' section but there are more SD owners here that may be a more proper target audience. It's my version of direct marketing. ;-)

Oh no. The black car is a keeper...until I sell it. :-)
I still have to find someone to paint that thing! |

The SD-455 T/A tested in the May 1973 Car & Driver was pressed into duty again for their June 1973 tire test. As you are reading it, keep in mind it is like two articles in one - top half is the editorial and the bottom half is the actual tires testing. So keep reading all the top half of the pages for one continuous article and then the bottom half of the pages for the tire-testing article. Whew. Need a nap now after all the scanning and trimming and uploading - it's a long article. Enjoy.
"The Firebird Trans Am, with .80G cornering capability and Detroit's most powerful engine, is an apt choice for tire testing." - Car& Driver, June 1973 |
