71 Trans AM with only 4K miles on it for BIN $89.9K in Missouri. I realize that's a lot of money, but IMO it's cheap for this car.

Here's an interesting car... 70 GTO Orbit orange 4 speed RAIV in Colorado at $5K with a reserve. Pardon me in advance if a member owns this car, but dude, what are you thinking? Offering this car with the original block at an extra price? What are you going to do with the original block if the buyer doesn't buy it? Who would buy this car without buying the original block too? IMO you hurt the price by even mentioning this, as any prospective buyer won't buy the car without out numbers matching engine.
Let's take this a step further... this car has all the stickers in place with a frame you can eat off. Would you actually drive it in the rain? I wouldn't. It's a trailer queen and an awesome car, but it seems like a car that belongs in a huge collection where it just sits and gets stared at. My second car was a 455 GTO 4-speed and I drove the hell out of that car when I was 16. If I can't drive it, I don't want it... just my 2 cents. Nice car though. It won't sell IMO. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Pontia...QAAOSwl29gGd4D |

I agree about not including the original block in the sale and really not sure why during the restoration you wouldn't rebuild/install the original engine (unless sleeving isn't going to fix the issue)?

I agree. That block is probably in really bad shape.

Back in the late 80's and early 90's I used to comb the local Pick-A-Part yards in Southern California. On Wednesday they would put the new cars out, so I would go to the yards (two of them) after work and see what they put out so I could get to it first. I found some really cool stuff back then. Prolly the best was a RAIV intake on a 77 T/A I bought for $25 and sold for $450. One day I saw an old Pinto with a paint job done by some Dead Heads. Damn I wish I would have bought that hood. It was all done by hand and the hood was awesome. When I saw this hood it made me think of that car.

70 Lemans in Denver at NR $6600. Grandma's car with the poverty caps and a rebuilt 350. Little rust here and there, but a solid car that runs.

70 red/red GTO NR in Canada at $26K. Red/Red is very rare... that interior is a work of art (Homer drool).

1973 Formula 400 Firebird Rottenheimer Rustenburger in NY. According to the ad, it does have a rot free battery tray... so there's that. The nose looks usable and a 4-speed was swapped in at some point. $1800 NR.

68 Firebird 350 CA car with supposedly 60K miles in Idaho at NR $25000. It hit $25K in < 2 hours... smells fishy, but it does seem to be a nice car.

It hit $25K with '0' bids....so, seems like that's the starting price.
