Hey Boss, great thanks. The car was sent by Pontiac to Biener Pontiac on Long Island for the sole purpose to race. Biener had a race team already in place "Perz Biuso & Perz". John Perz was a mechanic at Biener and the driver. They raced it the rest of '68 and beginning of '69. They had quite a bit of success with the car. Biener got a '69 firebird to race and the dealership sold the car. It was driven sparingly on Long Island until '79 when it was parked in the owners garage. I was lucky enough to find it and purchase this rare beauty.

Last year in Daytona I met a guy that had a RAII Firebird. It was a race car from day 1. Minimal options. It was Mike, but cant remember the last name. I guess I got you confused with him.

He was actually happy that it was going to be put back on the road (it sat in his garage for 36 years). And he has a standing invitation to come to my place anytime to drive it.
