Default 1960 gas tank sending unit..repair, replace?

Any recommendations for either repair or replacement gas tank sender for a 1960 Pontiac? I see Ames cuts off at 1961. Thx in advance for any tips/info. RA

Don't think so. Says it's for wagon only. Thx for the effort tho.

Have you removed and inspected the existing sender? At least a few times I've repaired a sender- float not floating, broken connection at resistor, etc. The last one I repaired, the float arm had (somehow) gotten caught above its up-stop.

Here is an ebay listing that fits several years. I bought a different listing from the vendor for a 63 wagon and it has worked fine so far. The lister has single and dual lines available.

I hope this helps,

I just ordered one on Ebay yesterday and should have it tomorrow (using local courier) I think the vendor has more - This has the return line. Stainless. The vendor name on ebay is Vansautollc. Was $39. Someone else also had the non return one too.
