Default 73 Hood release

Do you guys have a pic or diagram of the parts needed for the 73 hood release. I don't have any of them except the correct vertical brace where the horns mount.

Alternatively, do any of you have the parts and want to sell them?

Page 14 on NJSteves thread on his 73 SD Formula is a good place to start.

I would ask to borrow NJSteves old ones, or ask him to get some made ( 3D printed) in Nylon..

Had a friend of mine make a couple in plastic for me over the Thanksgiving Holiday. He had to several runs just to get two good ones. Original, loose on top. 3D lower, loaded and unloaded.

Who's your friend? Would he make more for a price?

Could use one of the plastic grommets, as well!

The friend has since left from where I work, to go out on his own. And, since there was very little interest directed to me, none were attempted in nylon and no others were made (Covid was the reason he even played around with it in the first place). I'm sure he would also not share his file and I only paid him for the time and materials to run (not very cost effective to produce cheaply).

I have two of the unobtanium grommets. One is perfect the other has the tab at the top broken off.

I'm happy to sell them to someone who will use them for a car or to reproduce them.

PM for for details.

FormulaBruce reached out to me on the grommets and indicated he may have someone to reproduce him. So I would probably give him first dibs if he wants them (coincidentally he sold this exact pair to me, many years ago).
