Default WTB "real" 068 cam

I would like a genuine Pontiac 068 camshaft. Not to actually use, but just to measure as a reference. It could be NOS or well used as long as most of the lobes are still good. Yes, it could even have some completely wiped lobes. As long as it really came from Pontiac and has an S stamp. Probably the older the better.

I'm guessing that you suspect the cams they sell now as being exactly like the 068 are not?

yes, I am thinking that the Melling SPC-7 is close. The Butler RA-068 not so much, but I don't have a real one in front of me right now to be sure.

the 068 was on a 116 and I dont see ANY on the list done with a 116.Im sure you can someone to custom grind one to the specs?Maybe try Clay Smith or Isky?Tom

Tom, thanks for the link to the chart, that is useful but I want to measure the actual lift curves.

I have measured a Melling SPC-7 and it measures right at 116° LSA.
