Not trying to knock the car but would you think when the did the restoration they would put the correct fender supports in. Just a peeve of mine maybe with early 2nd gens. A RAIV is certainly worth it. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to own it!

The wheels are ? " no issues" is what it says.. REALLY?
Shifter issues?
Fender wrong...
For a real investor, Not a flipper.. its not as correct as it should be.
Might go for $165 K .
On the auction writers...
I dislike the more common auction writers languages about items.
Example. " The " correct" transmission sits behind the blue engine" what does " CORRECT "actually mean?
Or , " a proper 3 speed turns the drive shaft" < just stooopid >
" a quadrajet sits atop the intake" , Really ?? Thats it?
" Its said to have the correct gears" , Really, no rear code??
Looked at a 66 Vette Big Block for sale on line. NOWHERE in the ad was the transmission even mentioned, aside from a general " numbers" statement. The Truth WOULD HAVE HURT.. Said like a writer... The giant 427 breathes deep through dual exhaust as it spins the torque converter.... in its BORN WITH Power glide.
I barely could see the shifter gear selector in one pic...
So much is said to make people assume one thing, but not actually saying it. Rant off..

Agreed,
For this car you would think they would get it correct.
Thing that screams something bad happened to this car body wise is the incorrect front fenders and the rear spoiler gaps. the shape and gap of the rear QP on the passenger side next to the taillight is closed. not the correct spacing. the other side looks twisted.
Body lines and spacing tell a lot about what or how the car was put together.
Also the door the QP body lines do not line up at all.
I know these cars were not perfect when they left the factory but after seeing a couple hundred of these cars over the last 35 years you can tell the ones that were whooied together.

This is not what I would buy for that kind of money.

It’s pretty rare that its original block is still in one piece.

I believe this is the 1st 70' RAIV built in Norwood. Regardless of prior restoration faults, it still has it's pedigree.

In all of these years this is the first RAIV auto I've seen. It's not perfect but it looks like a nice car. You don't get many opportunities to buy these

There was a white/blue interior auto on the column Ram4 that sold a couple of different times at the big auctions , several years ago. Was not top notch necessarily , sold for around 100k both times.

In 2006 a friend had just completed a full resto on a 70 Ram4 4spd , white/blue interior.
Showed it at 2006 POCI in South Carolina , was offered 125k
That was full monte at the time.
He turned it down and said next year it will be worth 150k , 10 years it will be double that.
He was pretty much right about it.
