After sitting for 5-7 days my 67 GTO with tri-power is hard to start. The gas is draining out of the center carb. I have to prime it(pour gas in
carb 3-4 times before it will run.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

GoatFever - the gasoline is probably evaporating, not draining out. Ain't modern gas wunerful?

Solutions:

Show car - learn to live with it!

Driver - replace the mechanical fuel pump with an electric at the tank. Remember the electric must be wired to an oil pressure switch (safety), but you can also wire in a push button manual override. When you start the car after an extended period of no starts, simply energize the pump with the override for about 10 seconds. This fills the carburetors and will allow the car to start. As soon as the oil pressure comes up the oil pressure switch will energize the pump.
