Default NORWALK Q16

Congrats to Jeff Kauffman - Quickest Pontiac Block Ever! 6.62 @ 209.20 mph

Congrats to Michael Campolucci - Quickest Pontiac Block on the door side. 7.58 @ 179.09 mph
#1 Qualifier, .16 second quicker than the #2 qualifier.

Having only a couple passes on the engine, a great accomplishment.
Not having all the resources (and money) of the #2 qualifier says a lot.
Also not even having any chassis adjustments to set it up right.

Congrats to George Zimnicky, good times for all the slippage you were having with the convertor. 8.28 best I think?

Congrats to wannabefast, car looked awesome!
#8 qualifier I believe, @ 8.57 seconds

Congrats to Jim Zeek, glad you decided to come.
I probably helped you get in.

A big congrats to Todd Filson.
Car was running great.
One of these days you won't be the bridesmaid.

Congrats to Richie Huffman (sp?)

Winner of the Q16.
Your car was running good too.

A lot of fast times, considering the track wasn't really there.

Hopefully next year will be even greater and faster.

Yes, he was #2 on open side, I think. Can't remeber his time though. 7.50's maybe?

Congrats also to:

Dil Brandow, car is awesome also. 8.54 @ 159 mph was one time I have.

Larry Cooper - Great looking car and getting it lined out. 8.04? ET

Thanks John, we had a blast. Sorry to hear about the Wallace team problems but we were fired up about making the show with a naturally aspirated engine and getting to run KRE in the first round had us even more excited. I wish they could have made the pass so we could be running them when they set another record. Not sure what happened in that last pass Lee said it just died when he launched it but it has never done that before. I have to check the wiring, fuel, and anything else I can think of. I guess if I own a Q16 car I might have to change my handle.

Maybe deja' vu ?
Jeff chattered the tires so hard on his burnout against you, it rattled the battery cable plug off.

That's true!
You were faster than most there. And N/A.

You also need to get licensed.

Yep, what comes around goes around. I have my medical work done and just need to do the passes. I was going to try and do them Friday at Norwalk but we got such a late start I decided to use Friday as a kickaround day.

Dude shows up in a "new" 07 GTO with more carbon fiber than an F-1 car with an all aluminum, side oiler, dual dominator, sheet metal intake motor in a 40ft trailer and doesn't have "resources". If that's the case, I wish I didn't have "resources"
