Talking Epic Craigslist Ad of the Day

Hoping the Mods will sticky this. Seeing how there is a plethora of funny craigslist ads, lets post the funny, rediculous and idiotic. Keep them clean though.

"RARE 1989 Pontiac Lemans,blue,2 dr/hatchback/4cyl/4speed,original owner. All original except for new shift knob.Runs good, still gets over 30mpg.273,000 miles,on 2nd clutch.Tires in very good condition.low miles.Paint on hood and roof has faded although sides are good.Seats are original except drivers seat reupholstered close to original fabric. They didnt make many of these as they were throw away autos and have never seen one for sale on ebay in over 6 years."

Only 9 g's? what a deal!

My parents bought one of those brand new. It was the "performance" GSE model. I don't even think it was $9950 new. It was such a POS it had to be bought back by GM under the lemon law ....

i met a beautiful girl at a club in the 90's, she said she had a lemans. wow. i said me too.
walked her out to her car for a kiss goodnite.
i'm sayin wheres the lemans?
she says here. my jaw dropped.
i blurted out "this is what they did to the lemans?" "i hope they dont make a GTO outta this"
i saw her again and showed her a real lemans.
now she's the mother of one of my kids; we arent together now but we laugh about this sometimes...
btw: it ran good but eventually bursted into flames.

Now I know the secret for selling on Craigslist. It probably will work on that popular auction site too. Just add the word "rare" to the description and ask for big bucks.

And misspell the wording and use ebonics.

Just ended. $610 and doesn't meet the reserve.

Let's put this into some kind of perspective. In Sept. 2006, I paid $950 for a 1990 Grand Am with 73,000 miles and working a/c, not 273,000 miles like that POS. I still have the car. The difference is I thought and still think the car is also a disposable car that was probably worth like $800-$850, but I needed another car and there it was.
