Old 2 of 4 I believe.
Is this 2 of the 4 that MT had in his Challenger?

I don't know if these belonged to MT or not.
A week or so ago there was this discussion https://forums.maxperformanceinc.com...d.php?t=868223 going on over on the '60 and earlier area of our forum that started about pinning rocker arm studs and progressed through screw-in studs. The heads shown in the picture ('59 or earlier) asking about MT do not have screw-in studs. I just think that is unusual.

I don't know, but the fabricated bulkhead reminds me of Challenger's style of construction. There was a very good article in HotRod back before Challenger was completed, but it would take me a while to locate it.
Perhaps Tom S would know. Whoever posted that image labelled it "Mickey Thompson's Pontiac V8's"- is there some doubt about the credibility?

That exact same photo appeared in an article about Challenger I in High Performance Pontiac magazine: https://www.motortrend.com/features/...-challenger-i/ I'm a little confused, though - the car had four LaSalle transmissions, one for each engine. Weren't the engines tied together downstream of the transmissions? I'm wondering if this picture was of an initial mockup and not of the final arrangement.
