Yes, most likely a redbird, I was more interested by the 11 stamped in the circle

Know anyone that recoats the foam rally wheels? I have a 1971 GTO rally wheel made of dense rubber-like foam with a well worn black coating. Thanks.

Thought the 69 was different but will need to look. Like the one in my Judge even if incorrect.

ps my memory is that in 1969 the Formula steering wheel option was only available in the Trans/Am and was different, more like a Grant wheel. In 70 it was generally available. Ordered one on both my 72 Wagon and 78 Sunbird. Later wheel lasted a lot longer. Originally had a red/gold in the Judge butliked the red/black better. And then there were all of the differet horn buttons...

The one on my 78 is fat and original bought the car new. Then I have one I took off a 79 SE back when the car was pretty new (totaled)that has gold spokes and pretty thin and clearly has a course grain compared to my other wheels which are pretty smooth. The one in my 72 is very fat. The one on my 71 is a reproduction that I bought from an OER tent at the Turkey Run for $100.00 and its fat.

I'm not the cars to get pics.
