Photos will hardly ever show a color the same way. The lighting changes, cameras are different etc...

You really need a painters light if you want to see color differences, but being out in the sunlight and viewing with the naked eye is the next best thing.

Have your wife look at it. I've been told many times that women see colors better than men do. Whether that's true or not I don't know but I can tell you I've had some of my best color matches done by Lori at the paint store. The guys suck at it, lol.

After reading Bermuda Blue's offer... you HAVE TO check out his car.
You owe it to yourself to investigate.

Do you have any spray out cards of what you painted it in, that you can mail out?

The article in the link "said" they used Dupont paint. No mention of PPG/Omni
But articles get stuff wrong
so anyway -

Tim Dye of the Pontiac Museum in Pontiac, Ill - restored a Mint Turq 70 Judge.
I'm sure they researched and signed off on the color before it was painted.
Could reach out to him if you wanted to.

It looks different in each photo

Picture 1 looks perfect
Picture 2 looks too green
Picture 3 almost looks like Bermuda Blue practically -- almost

yes,,the hood was off ,fenders and trunk lid. Painted separately but at the same time. Finally got the car out in the sun and the colors change the same way. One way it looks green and the other way it looks more blueish. Did not spray out any cards.

That car looks great. You'll drive yourself crazy trying to fine tune a color like that to match your perception of what it's supposed to be. Yeah, they look blueish in some lighting and greenish in others..and straight up turquoise in others. Mine is the same. Not the same colors but still, a turquoise.
Below is my car...same car, different lighting conditions and camera...

Thanks,I guess I will just leave it as is. Still needs a cut and buff. Got 4 of these the other day. The T/As have been on there since the late 80's so probably its time to replace. GR 70-14's.

Looks great as is to me. I encountered a similar problem with my 67 . The paint shop that originally painted it could not match their original paint to save their lives. They really, really tried. They used PPG . Wound up repainting the entire car(at no extra charge) instead of the area with minor collision damage. I now have a 67 GTO with what could be best described as a 65 color,Blue Mist Slate instead of the Montreux Blue it originally had. They did such a good job that I accepted it,liked it and still do to this day. Only one like it. Never had a GTO enthusiast even notice (or if they did, they did not comment). What I do hear are compliments on what a nice paint job. Just my two cents worth.

That is one beautiful car!! Love that color. BTW, I have no idea if it's perfect or off a 1/4 shade. I would enjoy it.

Well its been a while and the car was taken to a paint shop thats does nice paint jobs 2 weeks ago. The guy doing the body work just couldn't get the mottling to stop happening ,even with different spraying techniques. Got it back Sunday and the paint looks even and no mottling. We got it back and now he's wet sanding and buffing. I think its looking good. We're going to start putting the fenders and other pieces back on this weekend. Got a ways to go but at least its going back together after starting it 2 years ago.

If you call that just 'good enough' then I'd say you are a real perfectionist. That thing looks awesome. Can't wait to see it back together.

Some things I can let go and some things I cant. I couldnt let go of walking up to the car and seeing that blotchyness even if it was slight. I believe the guy Im having do the work was ready to string me up awhile ago,,,,lol. Now saturday Im helping put the fenders and stuff back on for the last time and getting the gaps as best as we can, That should be fun. Ha . The trunk needs to be aligned,,,we just stuck it on there for transport.
